Synopsis: |
Cody Langham, an eastern girl, attempts to run a ranch left to her by her father, who, knowing his daughter, appoints foreman Gene Autry as administrator of his will. She wants to sell the ranch, but Gene refuses to give his consent, so she sends for Larry Cummings, a cattle broker with few scruples. Gene has agreed to turn over the ranch to Cody when she marries a man who meets with his approval; therefore, Cody plans to marry Larry. Gene refuses his consent. Larry, discovering the value of the property, plans to get rid of Gene and sends to Chicago for racketeers. A fake cattle rustling raid, kidnappings and attempted murder all decoy Gene into many serious situations but he manages to battle his way out with the help of his sidekick, Frog Millhouse. Together, they outwit the racketeers, expose Larry, and bring Cody to her senses, clearing the trail for happiness ahead.
