Having conquered the big screen, Gene Autry quickly rode into America’s living room on the small screen with his Flying A Pictures productions in 1950. The Gene Autry Show, 91 half-hour mini-movies featuring Gene’s trademark singing, action and comedy, was the first of his Western-flavored programming for the new medium of television.
