The Official Website of Gene Autry, America's Favorite Singing Cowboy

Fun Autry Fact:

When he was a young man, Gene received an offer from a professional baseball team to become a player. Gene turned down the offer because it would have meant a fifty-dollar-a-month pay cut from his telegrapher's job.

All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth
Gene Autry's Melody Ranch Radio Show
(December 6, 1953)

Pat Buttram was Gene Autry's sidekick in movies, television, and Gene Autry's Melody Ranch Radio Show. On rare occasions Pat would sing a humorous song like the novelty Christmas tune "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth." The Cass County Boys accompany Pat on this fun performance. A few years earlier, Pat sang a parody version titled "All I Want for Christmas is a Voice Like Bing."
