Every year in September, the towns of Gene Autry, Oklahoma and Tioga, Texas celebrate the life and works of Gene Autry. Maxine Hansen, who is Mrs. Autry's personal assistant, and Holly George-Warren, who is the official Gene Autry biographer, once again ventured to the Gene Autry festivals and celebrations.
