Detailed Synopsis:
Emma Conley, social leader of a small western town, has never let her neigh bors know she was once a trapeze artist with a touring carnival. When the carnival takes up winter quarters outside her new hometown, Emma fears her past will be revealed, so she hires gun-fighting, strong-arm men to run the show out of town. This causes all kinds of trouble until Gene Autry discovers Emma’s secret and persuades her that being a trapeze performer is no dishonor, but something of which to be proud. Emma’s effort to make amends for her foolishness is complicated by the gunmen’s attempt to rob the carnival, and it takes Gene’s help to make everything right in the end.
