America's Favorite Singing Cowboy, Gene Autry was born on September 29, 1907, and we think it is worth celebrating every year. The Autry National Center will mark the anniversary of Gene's birth this Wednesday, September 29th, with special movie and television episode screenings throughout the day, a birthday treat in the Golden Spur Cafe (free for Autry Museum members), a special 50%-off sale of Gene Autry DVDs in the Autry Store, and 20% discount on the purchase of Autry Museum membership – available at all levels.

Visit the Autry National Center on Wednesday, September 29th and enjoy Gene Autry movies and television show screenings in the Museum's Western Legacy Theatre in the Imagination gallery.

For Wednesday, September 29, 2010 only, all Gene Autry movies on DVD that are currently in stock are included in this sale. Purchases may be made in person at the Museum Store or online.
